Storage of items in the close

No property (including bicycles, motorcycles, prams or refuse) belonging to you or anyone residing with you or anyone visiting you, should be stored in any of the common parts if it is likely to cause danger, nuisance or annoyance to anyone or if it causes obstruction to anyone using the common parts.

You must not do anything which prevents or hinders the use of the common parts by the other users.

Bulky uplifts

Rent paid by Council tenants covers the uplift of bulky rubbish (special uplifts), but there is a limit on the number of uplifts allowed per year. Please call the council contact centre to check if you are eligible for an uplift and they will process your request. Any items presented for special uplift should be left in the bin area and not in the close.

Pets

If you have a pet, you must:

  • make sure that your pet does not foul in or cause damage to any common areas;
  • immediately clean up any faeces or other mess created by your pet in any common areas;
  • ensure that your pet is supervised and kept under control in any common areas.
