Please follow these links to find out more about Council Housing
There are approximately 5,000 council houses in Clackmannanshire. There is a high demand for council housing therefore people who wish to rent a property need to register on the waiting list.
When someone registers on the waiting list their housing need is assessed in line with the Council's Housing Allocation Policy. The Allocation Policy is designed to prioritise applicants based on their housing need.
You are eligible to go on the Council waiting list if you are age 16 years or over, unless your application is restricted by immigration control.
The council operates a common housing register in partnership with Ochil View Housing Association
If you register for housing with the Council or their partners your details will be shared and you will be registered on the three waiting lists.
This makes it easier for you as you will only need to complete one registration form.
If you do not wish to be considered for housing with any of the other landlords your details will not be shared with them, however you will be encouraged to register with all three to increase your options for an offer of housing.
