Brown Bin Permit for Garden Waste

The brown bin collection service has resumed for the season and existing permits will be valid until 30 April 2026. Requests for replacement permits due to damaged bins etc can be made by calling 01259 450000 or e: customerservice@clacks.gov.uk.

Permits for the next year 2026/27 are now on sale online, by telephone to 01259 450000 or in person at Kilncraigs, Greenside Street, Alloa. The charge per permit has been set at £52.00.

The Council operates a 3 weekly service for the collection of garden waste between the months of March and November.

Residents require to buy a permit in order to receive this collection service, and to ensure the brown bin is emptied a valid permit must be attached to the bin.

Our recycling centre at Forthbank Alloa will accept garden waste from residents without permits.
