Strategic Environmental Assessment
Clackmannanshire Council has prepared an update of the Local Transport Strategy (LTS) for the period 2015 - 2019. The LTS sets out the Council�s aims, objectives, policies and strategies for the next five years addressing transport issues. As part of the LTS process a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is required. SEA is a systematic method for considering the likely environmental effects resulting from pursuance of the policies in the LTS. A scoping report and environmental report were prepared and consulted on by Scottish Natural Heritage, Historic Scotland, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency for the LTS 2010 - 2014. These reports are still relevant to the forthcoming LTS 2015 - 2019.
