When the new Scottish Building Standards Regulations came into force on 1st May 2005, all 32 Scottish Local Authorities were appointed as sole Verifiers for their respective geographical areas for a period of 6 years. The Scottish Building Standards Agency (SBSA) were appointed to audit all 32 councils and the audit programme is currently underway. Clackmannanshire Council were audited on 16-17 January 2007 and the report is attached below.
