The redevelopment of Westhaugh near Alloa has been completed and the site has reopened. All pitches at Westhaugh are currently occupied.
If you are a member of the Gypsy/Traveller community and are interested in living at Westhaugh, you can apply for a pitch by completing the application form.
Once we receive your application, we will assess it and, if eligible, add you to the waiting list for the next available pitch. Pitches will be allocated to successful applicants as they become available, in line with the Westhaugh Allocations Policy.
The redeveloped site will offer 16 pitches, including one pitch adapted for disabled applicants. Each pitch provides:
The site also includes a community building, where Council officers can provide support, discuss any issues, and assist with reporting repairs.
Applications are open to individuals who identify as Gypsy/Travellers and are over 16 years of age.
Please note that all successful applicants must have a caravan at the point of sign-up and provide evidence of this. If you do not have a caravan, you will not be able to reside on the site.

When we receive your application, we will add you to the site waiting list and assess your application against the criteria set out in our Westhaugh Allocations Policy.
We use a bands and points system to determine the priority for allocations, which is based on your housing needs and individual circumstances.
