Weekly Rent

In 2024/25 we reviewed our rent structure with the aim of creating a simpler, fairer and more consistent rent charging system for all our tenants. The changes made to the structure were implemented on 31^st March 2025.

Following the results of the latest Tenant Satisfaction Survey carried out in May 2025, tenant satisfaction with rent representing good value for money has declined from 94.66% to 87.56% from the previous survey in 2023. We are keen to understand changes in tenant satisfaction and underlying factors influencing tenant perceptions of the rent and rent levels.

The main rent consultation for financial year 2027/28 is due to run from 13^th November 2026 until 18^th December 2026. The consultation intends to ask your opinion on your current rent charge and on a proposed rent increase for the coming year. The survey will be sent by post and will be available online. We encourage all tenants to provide feedback which will inform rents for the next financial year.  There will also be 2 in-person consultation events on:

• Saturday, 21^th November 2026, 10am – 3pm
• Sunday, 6^th December 2026, 10am – 3pm

at the Sauchie Community Group, Sauchie Resource Centre, 11 Mar Place, Sauchie, FK10 3EA
