Council Housing Guide

There are approximately 5,000 council houses in Clackmannanshire. There is a high demand for council housing therefore people who wish to rent a property need to register on the waiting list. When someone registers on the waiting list their housing need is assessed in line with the Council's Housng Allocation Policy. The Allocation Policy is designed to prioritise applicants based on their housing need.

You are eligible to go on the Council waiting list if you are age 16 years or over, unless your application is restricted by immigration control.
