Important points to note

• Site visitors are asked not to queue up before site opening hours as this blocks off access/exit to/from housing around Forthbank
• Commercial customers should continue as before. Current restrictions still apply.

Access to the site is subject to stringent controls

• ​​Time available on site is restricted due to social distancing guidance to protect site users and staff. Please group materials in your vehicle to assist in turnaround time on site.
• No access permitted to residents or commercial customers from outwith Clackmannanshire
• A limit on the numbers of users on site at any one time
• On site, you will initially be directed to the residual waste bays and then be permitted to drive to the garden and wood bays (if required) as your last drop-off prior to departure.

Soil and rubble disposal

Please note that at this time we can accept soil or rubble in small quantities only (for example 4 pails/plastic containers), without an appointment. This includes slabs, tiles, stones, toilet cisterns, ceramics, etc.

Visitors must be able to safely manual handle these containers. Site staff will request to view any such material prior to site entry. We cannot accept soil and rubble from commercial customers.

For users requiring to dispose of larger quantities of soil or rubble, an appointment can be made by e-mailing forthbank@clacks.gov.uk, providing your name, address, telephone number, vehicle registration number/hire company name, and a description of the type and volume of waste. 

Please note that our standard weight restriction (3.5 tonnes gross) will apply to your vehicle.

Social distancing

Social distancing must be observed ie remaining at least 2 metres away from site staff and other users.

For this reason physical assistance for site users will be restricted.

Vehicles should be driver only.

Opening hours - Monday-Sunday

Summer - 1st April - 30 Sep

• 8.30 am to 8.00 pm (last entry at 7.45 pm)

Winter - 1st Oct - 31st March

• 8.30 am to 6.00 pm (last entry at 5.45 pm)

Time on site and site behaviours

We have a Zero tolerance policy towards abuse of our staff, and visitors are requested to respect staff working at our Recycling Centre.

Following incidents where staff have faced intimidating and threatening behaviour from members of the public, physical or verbal abuse will not be tolerated. 

Anybody being abusive towards our staff will be banned from the facility and reported to Police Scotland.

Numbers of users on site at any one time will be restricted and controlled by site staff.

Failure to follow instructions will result in the site user being requested to leave the site immediately.

CCTV cameras will be in operation at all times.
