Window Replacement Programme

As part of Clacmannanshire Council's ongoing commitment to achieve and maintain the Scottish Housing Quality Standard and the Social Housing Net Zero Standard (SHNZS), and ensure that tenants can live in warm, safe and secure homes, The Council has embarked on an extensive rolling window replacement programme.

The programme targets properties with windows from the mid-1980s onwards, as many of these original window frames are coming to the end of their projected life cycle.

Modern and secure energy efficient windows will be installed by Sidey Glaziers Ltd initially in approximately 450 homes over the coming year in various locations throughout Clackmannanshire.

Tenants involved will be lettered to advise when this work is due to be carried out in their home.Through upgrading the windows to our properties with energy saving reflective glass, this will further enhances the energy performance of our stock and assists with meeting our SHNZS target. In turn, this will deliver savings to our tenants through energy saving costs.
