Wee County Bus

Wee County Bus

The Wee County Bus is a new flexible fully accessible bus service, aiming to connect local people with local services and onward journeys by regular bus services.

This new service aims to assist

  • local disabled people who cannot use regular bus services (kerb to bus)
  • communities with no access to local bus services (demand responsive transport)

The bus service will be shared with both user groups and must be booked in advance. At times we may use the bus for other purposes.

The service launched in July and the first phase will focus on the transition of our existing door to door passengers onto the new service.

We aim to introduce the Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service in the autumn.

Bookings for Kerb to Bus (formerly D2D) customers can be made on 01786 237 800 between 1000 - 1200.
