The council’s fostering and adoption service supports children and families by providing advice, guidance and care to ensure children grow up in safe, stable homes within their local communities, guided by GIRFEC and The Promise.
The team assesses, trains and supports foster carers, works closely with children, families and partner services, and helps ensure children’s education, health and wellbeing needs are met.
