Clackmannanshire Council Travel Plan - Smart Travel

Clackmannanshire Council as a local authority has a responsibility to lead by example, in order to encourage local businesses and residents to adopt a sustainable approach to travel. 

A number of measures have been introduced to encourage staff and visitors to travel by more sustainable modes, including:

• Pool bikes for staff
• Cycle to Work - bike leasing scheme for staff
• Cycle shelters for staff and cycle racks for visitors
• Showers and changing facilities for staff
• Try Commuting Bike for staff
• Umbrellas available for staff to borrow at lunchtimes, for meetings and site visits
• Walking and cycling maps

Please note not all of these facilities are available at every Council office.
