Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Mar Place - cable damage: We are aware of damage to the cables at the rapid charging unit in Mar Place car park. Arrangements are being made to repair this. The closest alternative rapid charger is located at King Street, Alloa.

Future Closures/Disruption

Due to the Governments smart meter programme there is a requirement to upgrade some of the older meters in the EV charge points, this may lead to interuptions of up to 90 minutes.  All the interruptions will be anytime between 8:00 am and 12:00 mid-day.

The dates/locations are as follows:

  • One of the units at Kilncraigs the other will still be available and Greenside Street car park- 18th July.
  • The smaller (22Kw) unit at Dollar CAP and the unit at Murray Square - 19th July.
  • The first unit installed at the Dumyat Centre - 25th July. The rapid unit will still be available.
  • The second unit at Kilncraigs, the other being available and Tron Court - 26th July.
