Search, View, Object or Comment on Planning Applications
Development Management provides advice on development proposals, deals with the processing of planning applications and monitors compliance with planning permissions in accordance with the Council's Development Plan and Policies in order to control development in the county in the public interest.
An officer within the Development Quality Team is allocated to each planning application and should be your first point of contact with any query. Their names and contact telephone numbers appear on each weekly bulletin of new applications and all neighbour notification correspondence.
Details pertaining to the full planning process are available via our planning pages.
Planning fees were increased today (12 December 2024) and until such time as we can produce an in-house standalone document, these fees can be found on either the e-Planning website or the Scottish Government's website. Please contact us in the first instance if you are unsure of any proposed fee.
The Development Services Bulletin is issued on a weekly basis and provides outline details of recently received and approved planning applications. Full details of each application, inlcuding application form, drawings etc can be found at the link at the top of the page.
