We are a stand alone Early Learning and Childcare Centre who offer sessions for children from the term after their 3rd birthday until they go to school.
We are open to all children across Clackmannanshire and our opening times are as follows:
Term time sessions are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-2.30pm.
Every child also has a hot lunch provided every day and our excellent lunch time provision has been recognised by the Scottish Government with a case study being published demonstrating our ethos.
The Centre is registered to take a 112 children at any one time. 15 of these places are for entitled 2 year olds. Follow the link given to see if your child is entitled.
We also have provision to take up to 9 babies to support families across Clackmannanshire to attend groups and access support where required through the Family Wellbeing Partnership.
We endeavour to provide a service that supports the Scottish Government’s aim to make Scotland the best place to grow up, by delivering high quality early learning and childcare that identifies and meets the needs of the children and their families that use our service.
All educators in Sauchie ELC are empowered into leadership which is essential for ensuring high quality care and learning for our children. We are extremely proud of our ethos and culture of leadership at all levels across our setting.
We are an eco friendly ELC centre and are on our sixth Green Flag. We have also been awarded our Gold Rights Respecting School Award. In addition, we have been awarded our STEM Nation award by Education Scotland where we have successfully achieved all 5 elements required and a Gold Award for developing a communication friendly environment for children by speech and language.
