Football Pitches

A number of grass football pitches are available for hire across Clackmannanshire, during the football season.

There is also an artificial grass pitch situated at each of the secondary schools for use throughout the year.

Any events training use of the parks by community groups should be booked through the call centre leisure bookings service

Where are the Council's pitches?

Please be aware that to enable the Council to check our outdoor pitches/parks prior to training/events taking place, you must make a booking. This allows us to monitor the use of our pitches/parks so that resources can be targeted.

Closed season for bookable grass pitches is from the beginning of June to the beginning of August inclusive. If you wish to make a special request for availability during the closed season, please contact us before the beginning of June.

Note: If you have made a booking for the use of the whole artificial grass surface, all 7-a-side goals will remain in place throughout the booking.

How do I book?

• Telephone the Leisure Helpline on 01259 213131
  • Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
• In person at the Speirs Centre, Primrose Street, Alloa
  • Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
• Online via our bookings service

Payment can be made by debit or credit card over the telephone, online or in person at Kilncraigs.

All hires must be paid for on the day of booking.

Cancellations and refunds

Refunds or credits will be provided when bookings are cancelled due to unplayable pitches. A signed statement will be required from the referee if they cancel the match.
