Clackmannanshire residents were asked to give their views on leisure and wellbeing provision as part of a review being carried out by the Clackmannanshire Alliance. The survey closed on 14th May 2021.
The survey was part of the Sport and Active Living Framework Vision and Ambition for Clackmannanshire, which is focused on delivering modern and sustainable leisure and wellbeing facilities in Clackmannanshire, including an option for a modern swimming pool.
The Council agreed a Capital Budget of £16.8 million for the creation of a Wellbeing Complex in Alloa, and officers are working with expert advice and support from sportscotland to engage with clubs, governing bodies, partners, major institutions, equalities groups and other stakeholders on the creation of a first class leisure provision.
