The Council’s Sports Development section is designed to promote sport, physical activity and physical education as a way for children from 3 to 16 years old to enjoy being physically active, achieve their sporting potential and lay the foundations for a healthy active life style.
Blocks of classes are offered in various sports and activities during term time and a number of activities are also offered during school holidays.
Various fitness classes also run during the day and evenings.
