Council Tax

If you receive a text message asking for your bank details to enable a Council Tax refund, this will not be from Clackmannanshire Council. We would not contact you to ask for bank details via text message or phone call. If this has happened and you have provided your bank details, please contact your bank immediately.

Through our online portal you can

  • tell us that you have moved home
  • apply for or cancel single person discount
  • apply for student exemption
  • set up a direct debit
  • sign up for e-billing and view your bills

If you are not currently liable to pay council tax in Clackmannanshire then all you need is your new property's postcode to access our change of address services.

Register for an online account 

If you are already liable to pay council tax and have a council tax account number, then you can register to view your council tax account online.

Once registered you can check balances, check if any discounts, exemptions, or reductions have been applied to your bill, find out how much you need to pay and view and print your bill.

If you wish to register all you need is your current council tax account number and an email address to get started.
