STRIVE (Safeguarding through Rapid Intervention) is a multi-agency team, led by the Council, which intends to get the right help to the right people at the right time.
This ‘whole systems’ approach aims to see better, faster outcomes for our most vulnerable residents by gathering and sharing information at an early stage to try and prevent the need for further intervention.
It supports existing systems which are already in place to respond to child and adult protection concerns in Clackmannanshire.
The STRIVE team is a multi-agency team made up of Council officers from Housing, Education, Justice Services, Money Advice and Early Help children's and families. The partner agencies include Police Scotland, Health and Social Care Partnership and Third Sector Interface.
If your service has a concern for the welfare of an individual, family or household, a referral to STRIVE is appropriate if:
Please e-mail the details of the referral to strive@clacks.gov.uk.
The referral will be logged and the STRIVE team will determine if any appropriate support measures or additional support measures are necessary, adding value to the work your service is already providing.
At present we do not accept referrals from individuals. Please speak to any service or support you are engaged with if you think a STRIVE referral may be of benefit to you.
If your concerns are not meeting STRIVE eligibility criteria because the concern is an emergency or will require statutory interventions, please contact:
Police Scotland can be contacted on 101 for non-emergency or 999 for emergency assistance.
For further information and support, please access the community directory.
Alternatively, in Clackmannanshire we have several third sector supports that can provide support in communities, these can be found via the CTSI Members' Database.
Established in 2020, the Family Wellbeing Partnership (FWP) is a collaboration between Clackmannanshire Council, the Scottish Government and The Hunter Foundation via The Social Innovation Partnership (TSIP) to enhance wellbeing and capabilities. Empowering people in Clackmannanshire to be and do things they have reason to value and to live flourishing lives is at the heart of this approach, and the focus is on what matters to people in our communities.
You can email all completed referral forms to strive@clacks.gov.uk.
