Social Security Scotland

• Find out if there are Benefits and Grants you may be entitled through Social Security Scotland 

Government Employment and Benefits support

• Employment and Benefits support including support for emergency and crisis
• If you are already in receipt of government benefits Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • ​Short-term Benefit Advances
    • an advance payment of your benefit entitlement, following a new claim, when experiencing hardship.
  • Budgeting Loan/Advances
    • financial support with occasional expenses, if you have been in receipt of an income-related benefit for a period of 26 weeks or more.
