Clackmannan District Charitable Trust

Established in 1990 the Trust was formed following an amalgamation of 5 smaller Trusts. The Trustees meet twice a year, usually in March and September.

An application will only be accepted if any item you are applying for has been refused from Scottish Welfare Fund. Applications to SWF can be made via our Scottish Welfare Fund page.

Who can apply?

The Trust aims to support vulnerable adults and people living on a low income or experiencing financial hardship who meet the criteria below.

You may be eligible to apply if you live in Clackmannanshire and meet the Trust's residency requirements.

You must either have

• lived in Clackmannanshire continuously for the 12 months before the meeting of the trustees, or
• lived in Clackmannanshire for 3 years at some point in the past and continuously for the 6 months before the meeting of the trustees.

What help is available?

As funding is limited, priority is generally given to essential household goods such as cookers, washing machines, fridges, beds and bedding.
