Alva Community Access Point

The way Alva CAP operates changed as of 1 April. Customer services and new opening hours, which reflect community usage are detailed below.

Existing library services no longer operate from Alva CAP, but a new fortnightly community pop up service starts on 23 April. Library services continue as normal at Alloa Library in the Speirs Centre.

eBook and eAudio services are available to library members 24/7.

Get in touch with any Council Service
Pay any Council account (but not court fines)
Contact the Housing Team
Apply for free school meals and clothing grants or Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)
Contact the Leisure booking office
Arrange to consult your Local Councillor or Member of Parliament
Arrange bulky uplifts
Get help with pest control problems
Apply for concessionary travel fares/blue badge for a disabled driver
Apply for alcohol licences
Use fax and photocopying facilities, for a small charge

Public toilets are also available.

Thursday	9.00am-1.30pm (last cash payments 1.15pm)
Saturday	9am-12noon (last cash payments 11.45am)

Pop up library service

A fortnightly pop up library service will be provided from Thursday 23 April, 9am-5pm. Please refer to our web page for details via the link given.
