It is a legal requirement that all Births, Still-births, Deaths, Civil Partnerships and Marriages are registered by a Registrar.

Registrars also work in partnership with the Home Office to provide Citizenship Ceremonies for new British Citizens.

Genealogy Searches

The Registration office in Clackmannanshire has access to records of events for the whole of Scotland from 1855. Parish records are available prior to 1855.

You can now purchase Scottish Birth, Marriage, Death & Civil Partnership Certificates online.

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 4:30pm
