Notice is hereby given that the Council is postponing the publication of the unaudited annual accounts required to be published by 30th June 2025. The external audit of the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024 has not yet been completed by the external auditor and the impact of this ongoing audit work has reduced the available resources in the Finance Service to prepare the 2024/25 accounts leading to a delay in publication.
The unaudited accounts are expected to be published in early 2026 and the Council will consider the unaudited accounts no later than two months from the date of publication of the unaudited accounts.
The public has a right to inspect the unaudited accounts and associated documents and details of this inspection will be published on the Council’s website
