Tullibody South Campus
The Council is building Tullibody South Campus, incorporating a new build of Abercromby and St Bernadette's primaries and Abercromby nursery within the grounds of the current Abercromby schools.
The handover of the completed campus building is planned for August 2019. Demolition of the existing schools is programmed for Autumn 2019 and the grounds are targeted for completion in 2020. Alterations to the existing roads and paths networks to enable safe routes to school are programmed during 2019 and 2020.
The Council allocated £15.8m to the project, with funding of £5.35m secured through the Scottish Government Schools for the Future fund and £600 K from the Scottish Government Early Years Expansion fund.
The council consulted on the development of the campus in 2016. Planning permission was granted in January 2018.
