If you are struggling with aspects of daily activities as a result of illness or disability, you may benefit from the provision of daily living equipment or adaptations to promote your independence to remain at home.
Equipment provision shall be based on a Community Care Worker/Social Care Officer carrying out an assessment in your home.
If you are leaving hospital an Occupational Therapist shall assess your needs and arrange equipment on your behalf for your discharge home.
Should you require equipment to help you with your mobility such as a walking stick or wheelchair then this can be organised through your GP.
All equipment is provided on a loan basis. Should you no longer require your equipment then please contact Clackmannanshire Equipment service to arrange an uplift.
If you feel that you require an assessment for equipment then you can make contact with the duty team using the details below.
If you have a walking aid you no longer require, please help us to recycle, repair and reuse them by returning them to Forthbank Recycling Centre.
An alternate drop off point is also available at JLES, Unit 9Westmains Industrial estate, Grangemouth FK2 7XU.
