Forthbank Household Waste Recycling Centre

Forthbank Household Waste Recycling Centre

Important information about depositing wood and garden waste: For safety reasons users can no longer deposit wood or garden waste on the lower level of the site. Designated skips on the upper level should be used instead, and we recommend that smaller pieces of material are placed in bags or other containers in advance of your visit to make the tipping of the waste easier and safer.

Online booking remains in place for commercial customers and those users wishing to dispose of large amounts of soil or rubble ie more than 7 containers or bags.

Please note that only one visit with soil or rubble is permitted per day.

For more information on the waste that we take please refer to our waste accepted/not accepted web page.
Location

Bowhouse Rd,
Alloa
FK10 1DA

Entry to site

The use of this facility is free of charge to residents, but due to the significant cost to the Council of disposing of the waste it receives, it is essential that the facility is used by local residents only.

Under an agreement with Fife Council, Kincardine residents may also use the centre to dispose of household waste.

Proof of ID - Clackmannanshire or Kincardine residency

    • Note that existing Recycling Centre Access cards can be used until further notice as additional proof, but that new or replacement cards are no longer being issued.

Where the driver is not a Clackmannanshire resident but are carrying waste of behalf of a passenger in the vehicle, the passenger must produce evidence of residency as listed above.

The Council reserves the right to make further enquiries concerning the ownership of the waste, and may deny access to Forthbank.
