Elected Members' Remuneration, Allowances and Expenses  Bookmark and Share

In accordance with the Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Regulations 2007 as amended, Clackmannanshire Council hereby publish figures for Councillor's Remuneration, Allowances and Expenses.

These are determined by reference to the Local Governance (Scotland ) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Regulations 2007 (SS1 2007/183). A breakdown of the figures is available from Finance Services, Greenfield, Alloa, at all reasonable times, for inspection free of charge.

Elected Members' Training and Development Opportunities

Clackmannanshire Council has a Protocol for Elected Members' Training and Development, which aims to ensure consistency in the Council's approach to elected member training.

The Protocol is available to view or download from this page. However, if you would prefer us to send you a copy, please contact us using the details below.

Individual training plans are in place for each Member and the particulars are used to inform the annual training plan.

During 2008/09, a comprehensive range of training was attended by Elected Members.

Information on the specific training undertaken is also available on request.
