Members' Training, Allowances and Expenses
In accordance with the Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Regulations 2007 as amended, Clackmannanshire Council hereby publish 2008/09 figures for Councillor's Allowances and Expenses.
Allowances are determined by reference to Section 11 (14) of the Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Regulations 2007. A breakdown of the figures is available from Finance Services, Greenfield, Alloa, at all reasonable times, for inspection free of charge.
Elected Members' Training and Development Opportunities
Clackmannanshire Council has a Protocol for Elected Members' Training and Development, which aims to ensure consistency in the Council's approach to elected member training.

Individual training plans are in place for each Member and the particulars are used to inform the annual training plan.
During 2008/09, a comprehensive range of training was attended by Elected Members.
