Doors Open Days are held throughout Scotland every September. Clackmannanshire Heritage Trust coordinate local events.
Events are held every September throughout Scotland as part of the Council of Europe European Heritage Days.
People can visit places of cultural and historic interest free of charge which are not normally open to the public or which usually charge an admission fee.
The event aims to encourage everyone to appreciate and help to preserve their built heritage.
Doors Open Days is promoted nationally by The Scottish Civic Trust, the Doors Open Days website and is part sponsored by Historic Scotland.
Clackmannanshire Archives & Local History Service took us on a digital tour of the county 100 years ago as part of the Doors Open Days 2021 weekend, which you can view via Facebook.
Doors Open Days information is also available via our events diary.
