The Tillicoultry Conservation Area was designated in 2005, amending the boundaries of the area originally designated in the 1970s. The Conservation Area encompasses the historic core of the town north of the High Street (A91), with Upper Mill Street to the west and Walker Terrace, Stirling Street, Ochil Street, Hamilton Street and Hill Street to the east.
