Commonwealth Games Sports Camp

Venue: Alloa Academy | Days: Mon-Fri | Times: 8.30am-3.30pm | Age group: P1-7 | Cost: £26.10/day, £105.40/week | Booking: 01259 213131

  • 8.30-9am: Flexible drop off and led activities
  • 9am-3pm: Sport and activity sessions, breaks and lunch
  • 3-3.30pm: Led activities and flexible pickup

Participants should bring a snack, lunch and a non-fizzy drink. Lunch will be supervised and attendees will be supported throughout the day by our staff, community club coaches and sports leaders.


ASN Sports Sessions (for pupils with additional support needs only)

Venue: Alloa Academy | Days: Mon-Fri | Times: 10-11.30am | Age group: P1-S6 | Cost: £6/day or £25/week | Booking: 01259 213131

Activities
  • Monday: Gymnastics and dance
  • Tuesday: Sensory and imaginative play
  • Wednesday: Fun games
  • Thursday: Gymnastics
  • Friday: Athletics, football and boccia/curling

There will be a break in sessions from 10.40-10.50am.

Parents/carers are encouraged to stay if their child requires assistance with medication or accessing toilets.


Over 50s Gym Sessions

Venue: Alloa Academy | Days: Thu | Times: 10-10.45am or 10.45-11.30am | Age group: 50+ | Cost: £3.05 | Booking: No booking required

Sessions are available for anyone over the age of 50 who would like to use the gym while accompanied by a supervised instructor.

You will be given advice and guidance on how to use the equipment and also tips on exercises suitable to you. 

All payments are taken by card only.


Football on Astro Pitch

Venue: Alloa Academy | Days: Mon-Fri | Times: 9.30am-3.30pm | Age group: 12-18yrs | Cost: Free | Booking: No booking required

The astro turf football pitch will be opened up for access for any young people who want to play football.

Sport and leisure staff will oversee these unstructured sessions.

If you intend to use it please respect the space, picking up any litter and putting it in bins, not climbing on the goals or fences and respect other users.

At times the Sport and Leisure team may wish to use part of this area for the delivery of sports activities and may ask those playing football to stay in a designated area.

Please be respectful to any staff who ask you to do this.

There is no access to the school or PE building during this time.
