The Alloa Glebe Conservation Area was designated in 2005 extending the area originally designated in the 1970s. The Conservation Area encompasses the western part of the commercial centre of the town bounded by Bank Street, Mar Street, Mill Street and part of Drysdale Street. Further west, the Conservation Area includes a suburban area of largely Georgian and Victorian residential development and West End Park, bounded by Bedford Place, Marshill and Church Road, and including Glebe Terrace, Ludgate and Coningsby Place.
