Childminders are ELC professionals who offer essential services to children and families.

Working from their homes, childminders offer a unique, flexible approach to early learning and childcare.

I am an early years educator and registered childminder, working in partnership with the Council to deliver funded early learning and childcare. I hold a BA in early learning and childcare.

My practice is centred around play, exploration and meaningful real life experiences. Children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and curiosity through everyday experiences, outdoor learning, our local community and child led play.

I work closely with families to support each child’s individual interests, strengths and development, providing high quality early learning and childcare in a nurturing, responsive home based setting.

I have been a childminder for over 35 years and provide a professional, caring and nurturing childminding service in Alloa for children from birth to 12 years.

I believe children learn best through play, exploration and having the opportunity to make their own choices and develop independence. I provide a safe, secure, stimulating and welcoming environment where children can learn, grow and have fun while in my care.

I am fully registered with the Care Inspectorate and hold qualifications in childcare, first aid and food hygiene. I also work in partnership with the Council.

Children have access to a wide range of stimulating learning and play opportunities, both indoors and outdoors. I also provide regular outings and experiences within the local community, giving children opportunities to explore, socialise and develop new skills.

My aim is to provide every child with a happy, supportive and enriching experience, while working closely with parents and families to ensure their individual needs are met.

Wee Bairns Childminding Alloa is a childminding service based in Alloa for children aged from birth to 11 Years. At Wee Bairns, I believe in children learning through play and being independent with their choices. Children are given stimulating learning and play options both indoors and outside. Children are also given the opportunity to go on outings.

I am fully registered with the Care Inspectorate and hold qualification in childcare and first aid. I work in partnership with Clackmannanshire Council to provide some of all of your child’s Early Learning and Childcare funded hours entitlement.

In addition, I am a registered food business with an up to date food hygiene certificate. I provide fresh, home cooked meals for all children in my care. I am also available for before and after school care for pupils attending Redwell School and Nursery.
