Commercial sacks and labels may also be used as pre-payment at Forthbank.
There are no concessions for part loads.
Transporting waste from any workplace, even if the waste is in your own car, requires either a pre-paid ticket or pre-paid green refuse sacks/labels. Without either of these you will be refused entry to the site. (This does not apply to waste from a private household that is delivered by the householder).
It is illegal to describe commercial waste as household waste.
If you transport controlled waste within the UK in the course of your business, you must register with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
Charges for the uplift by the Council of bulky items will be assessed on an individual basis, but there will be a minimum charge of £121.65 to cover labour and disposal costs. For a quotation please contact 01259 450000 or e-mail customerservice@clacks.gov.uk.
Payment can be made at the Speirs Centre where green sacks, labels and pre-paid tipping tickets are also available for purchase.
