THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, CLACKMANNANSHIRE) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020
The Clackmannanshire Council has made the above named Order under Sections 9 and 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 9th July 2020.
The effect of this order shall be to designate the sections of roads described in the Schedule as a 40 miles per hour speed limit, for a period of up to 18 months, to reduce traffic speed on roads that have experienced increased pedestrian and cycling use since the implementation of the COVID-19 Lockdown and is in the interests of road safety. A copy of the order, together with a copy of the relative plan is available below.
