This centre functions as a specialist multi-disciplinary team who provide assessment and treatment for adults with severe and complex mental illness either in groups or on an individual basis, as well as support to their identified carers and families.
If you are referred to the Mental Health Resource Centre you will initially be invited to meet with 1 or 2 members of our team of mental health professionals. This meeting may take place either at your home or at the Mental Health Resource Centre depending on your particular needs and circumstances.
At this initial appointment you will have the opportunity to discuss any issues relating to your mental health and wellbeing. In collaboration with you and our team we will plan the best way forward according to your identified needs.

We also run health maintenance clinics and offer support for people who may require longer term treatment and healthcare.
In all that we do we aim to provide the best and most appropriate service to meet your needs as an individual. For this reason the length of time that people attend the Mental Health Resource Centre will vary according to their circumstances.
A person may attend for a period of weeks or months according to their own personalised care plan. We aim to work in collaboration with you throughout your time at the Resource Centre including your moving on from the service when things have improved for you.
The Mental Health Resource Centre is actively involved in local and Forth Valley wide forums to continue the development and improvement of mental health services for the benefit of service users and carers.
