The main message from the session was that people are very keen to see much more detail on the different workstreams.
There’s also a strong appetite for teams working on the programme to be directly involved in shaping and presenting any ideas and proposals. That’s something that has already been agreed by the programme board.
Regular updates are important too, even if there’s not much new to say. There’s also an ask to involve frontline staff as early as possible.
Please refer to Connect article for full details.

The Council’s work as a Category One responder continues, with staff being redeployed from day-to-day duties to support affected residents and coordinate activities across a range of areas, including housing, social services, and community supports.
However, it is not only staff within these areas who are involved in this critical work. We recognise that many employees are being asked to go above and beyond their usual roles and responsibilities. Skills and experience are being drawn from across every directorate and service area to support this effort.
For the moment, we ask staff to focus on the wellbeing of your colleagues, particularly those involved in the direct response or with maintaining day-to-day operations. Please check in on each other and raise any concerns as soon as possible with your manager or the Council’s HR team.
At any time, you can access a range of wellbeing support via our web page. Please refer to full Connect article.

Please also note the loading bay may only be used by staff for the purpose of loading for no longer than 20 minutes.
A charge of up to £60 may be payable for illegal parking. This includes parking outside of a marked bay.
This car park is very busy, and we wish to welcome visitors, including those who require a disabled space and delivery drivers. Please refer to full Connect article.

Assessing equality impact should be an integral part of everything you do. It must happen before you make and implement decisions because it must inform your decision-making.
You should assume that every proposal, policy change, decision etc requires Equality and Fairer Scotland Impact Assessment an unless you have good evidence that there are no equality impacts. However, almost everything has an equality impact.
Please refer to Connect article for guidance document, template and powerpoint presentation.
