Exciting Employment Opportunities for 18-24 Year Olds

Clackmannanshire Council, on behalf of the Local Employability Partnership, has created a number of new and exciting opportunities for 18 to 24 year olds as part of the Young Person’s Guarantee.

These are 12 month job placements which will be paid at the Living Wage. Typically, placements will be 35 hours per week but hours may be flexed or reduced to meet the needs of eligible young people to accommodate any specific requirements such as caring responsibilities. On-the-job training will be provided.

Placements in Clackmannanshire Council include:

  • Digital Marketing, Compliance & Admin Assistant
  • Home Energy Advice Assistant
  • Access & Countryside Ranger Assistant
  • Digital Media & Engagement Officer

Placements are also available with Forth Environment Link, a Scottish environmental charity based in Stirling. These are:

  • Project Support Officer – Active Travel
  • Project Support Officer – Reuse & Food

We are looking for applications from young who fall into one of the following categories:

  • Those aged 18 – 24 and living in Clackmannanshire
  • Unemployed (excluding those in full time education
  • About to leave school without a positive destination
  • School leavers without a positive destination
  • In low paid employment
  • At risk of redundancy
  • At risk of losing an apprenticeship
  • Leaving training, volunteering, college or university without a positive destination
  • Low–skilled
  • Without qualifications at SCQF 5 or above
  • Underemployed
