Clackmannanshire Council will be represented at Scotland's largest Meet the Buyer event in Edinburgh on 6th June.
Over 60 buying organisations, including Clackmannanshire Council, will be on hand at the event giving suppliers the opportunity to speak directly to buyers about their procurement processes and contract opportunities.
The event, which is being held at Murrayfield Stadium, is being organised by the Supplier Development Programme (SDP) in partnership with the Scottish Government and Scotland Excel. SDP is a local authority partnership initiative established to help small to medium sized enterprise (SME) understand the procurement process and compete more effectively for public sector contracts.
The event is aimed at SMEs (small to medium sized businesses) and third sector organisations who are interested in supplying to the public sector. Any small to medium business is eligible to register with the Supplier Development Programme which will give them free access to a range of events from awareness raising seminars to policy workshop to tender writing workshops.
