Local community groups from across the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Council areas are being encouraged to ask for financial support from the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Environment Trust.
The Environment Trust is keen to support more local groups to implement projects that improve the environment or provide a benefit to both the local community and the general public. In the past, projects have included improvements to play areas, community halls, historic and religious buildings, local woodlands and projects aimed at conserving the local native biodiversity.
The Trust operates under the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund schemes. The Trust manages landfill community fund credits raised through the landfilling of municipal waste from both Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils.
Applying to the Trust is simple, to get help and advice please contact the Trust's Manager Audrey Morrison on 01786 484611 or by email on morrisona@stirling.gov.uk
