Alloa Library is the new venue for the Council's ESOL provision and a special event is being held this Saturday to mark the occasion.
Learners of all levels, their families and friends are invited to come along to Alloa Library on Saturday 21st May from 10.30am-12.30pm for coffee and conversation.
The Council runs the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programme for migrant adults who come to live and work in Clackmannanshire.
Expert tuition is provided as well as help with citizenship and preparing for the Life in the UK test. There are also social events and chances to meet other learners in an informal environment.
Councillor Bobby McGill, Depute Council Leader, said: "I'm delighted that the English for Speakers of Other Languages classes are moving to Alloa Library. ESOL funding is provided by the Scottish Government and we've had a reduction in our funding for 2011/12. We've had to look at better ways of delivering this provision so that more people benefit and the service better reflects government policy objectives. These new classes will meet that requirement."
