THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (LOWER COBDEN STREET, ALVA) (STOPPING-UP) ORDER 2022

Clackmannanshire Council has made an Order under Section 68(1) (a) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 on 11 October 2022, which will be to stop-up the section of road as detailed in the Schedule hereto as it is required to increase safety for pedestrians due to the new layout on A91 Stirling Street. Local residents have indicated support for this permanent closure as it has been temporarily closed during the upgrade works on A91 Stirling Street. The road will be removed from the list of adopted roads.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the aforesaid Act of that if any requirement therein has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from 19^th October 2022 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
