THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, CLACKMANNANSHIRE) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (AMENDMENT NO. 1)CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2014

Clackmannanshire Council has made the above named Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on date 17 November 2014, which will amend "The Clackmannanshire Council (Various Roads, Clackmannanshire) (30mph Speed Limit) (Consolidation) Order 2013" to  add sections of road as set out in the Schedule as these roads re being re-designated to a 30 mph limit. 

FULL DETAILS of this Order is as published in the Alloa Advertiser on the 1 October 2014 and will designate the sections of roads described in the Schedule as a 30 miles per hour speed limit which will add sections of road as set out in the Schedule as these roads are being re-designated to a 30 mph limit.  The 30 mph speed limit is considered necessary in the interests of road safety and to ensure that traffic speeds are limited to a speed compatible with the local environment.

A copy of the order, together with a copy of the relative plan is available below or may be examined at Clackmannanshire Council's Headquarters at Kilncraigs, Alloa, FK10 1EB or at any Council Office/Library, during normal office hours, free of charge.

Any person wishing to object to the validity of the order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the aforesaid Act or that if any requirement therein has not been compiled with, may within six weeks from 5 December 2014 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.

Forestmill

 

 
C89 Fearns RoadFrom its junction with Brucefield Road westwards until 20 mph speed limit at Forestmill, a distance of 730 metres or thereby.

Tillicoultry

 

 
A91From a point 225 metres or thereby west of Lower Mill Street in an easterly direction to a point 206 metres or thereby east of Harviestoun Grove.
 Sections of road over which 40 MPH Speed Limit restriction has to be reduced to 30 MPH

Forestmill

 

 
Brucefield RoadFrom its junction with C89 Fearns Road southwards until the Council Boundary a distance of 2.34 km or thereby

Muckhart

 

 
Golf Course RoadFrom its junction with A91 eastwards until 20 MPH limit, a distance of 355 metres or thereby.
 From a point 515 metres or thereby east of the A91 at the east 20mph sign eastwards for a distance of 820 metres or thereby.
