THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (CASTLE ROAD AND HILLFOOT ROAD, DOLLAR) (BUS RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2014
Clackmannanshire Council has made the above named Order under Section 1(1), (2) and (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 22 April 2014.
FULL DETAILS of this Amendment Order is as published in the Alloa Advertiser on the 19 March 2014 which will prohibit motor vehicles constructed or adapted to carry more than eight passengers and local buses of any capacity are prohibited from travelling on the sections of roads described in the Schedule (Excluding motor vehicles that seat up to sixteen passengers and one driver (up to six tonnes) which is a specially adapted vehicle being used for the transport of people with disabilities). This is to update an old order and for the purpose of road safety and road maintenance.
Any person wishing to object to the validity of the order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the aforesaid Act or that if any requirement therein has not been compiled with, may within six weeks from 9 May 2014 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
