THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL  (VARIOUS STREETS, CLACKMANNANSHIRE)  (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020

The Clackmannanshire Council has made the above named Order under Sections 9 and 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 9th July 2020.

The effect of this order shall be to designate the sections of roads described in the Schedule as a 20 miles per hour speed limit, for a period of up to 18 months, to reduce traffic speed on roads that have experienced increased pedestrian and cycling use since the implementation of the COVID-19 Lockdown and is in the interests of road safety. A copy of the order, together with a copy of the relative plan is available below.

SCHEDULE

List of Roads in Clackmannanshire

Section of road over which a 20 mph speed limit will be applicable from Monday 20th July 2020 for a period of 18 months.

A91 Menstrie

From a point 2 metres west of the west kerb-line of Midtown in an easterly direction to its junction with Forthvale a distance of 308 metres or thereby.

A91 Alva

From a point 28 metres west of the west kerb-line of Cobblecrook Gardens in an easterly direction to a point 63 metres west of the west kerb-line of Norton Street a distance of 648 metres or thereby.

A91 Tillicoultry

From a point 15 metres west of the west kerb-line of Union Street in an easterly direction to a point 5 metres west of the west kerb-line of Murray Square exit road a distance of 380 metres or thereby.

A91 Dollar

From the west kerb-line of Manor House Road in an easterly direction to a point 17m west of the west kerb-line of Lover’s Loan a distance of 482 metres or thereby.

B913 Devon Road, Dollar

From its junction with A91 Bridge Street in a southerly direction to a point 159 metres south of the extended south kerb-line of Dewar Street a distance of 287 metres or thereby.
