THIS ORDER IS ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (SCHOOL STREETS, CLACKMANNAN) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2019

The Clackmannanshire Council has made the above named Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 9 and 10(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 16 October 2019. 

FULL DETAILS of this Order, which will come into operation on 1 November 2019, is as published in the Alloa Advertiser on 31 July 2019, and will designate the sections of roads described in the Schedule as School Streets which is required to make the environment safer at the start and end of the school day.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the aforesaid Act or that if any requirement therein has not been complied with, may, within six weeks from 23 October 2019 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.

 

SCHEDULE - SCHOOL STREETS

For the purpose of the application of this Order to the lengths of road specified in this Schedule the expressions –

“prohibited hours” means the period shown in column 3 of this Schedule and indicated when the lights are flashing on the signs at the entrance to the prohibited area;

“m” means metre.
