Pupils in Clackmannanshire are benefitting from well-resourced schools and early learning and childcare settings according to performance data released by the Scottish Government.
The Achievement of Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) Levels, 2024-25 report also shows significant improvements in attainment have been made.
The report highlights that while pupil numbers have decreased slightly to 6,322, the Council has a current teacher workforce of 551.

S3 pupils achieving Third Level or better in literacy stands at 91.3%, higher than the 90% national average.

Clackmannanshire also has the highest number of Additional Support Needs (ASN) teachers (37), resulting in a rise in ASN learners’ literacy and numeracy compared to 2021/22 figures.
Councillor Graham Lindsay, education spokesperson, said: “The publication of these official statistics from the Scottish Government clearly shows our inclusive, well-resourced approach to education is bearing fruit.
