Clackmannanshire Works, Clackmannanshire Council’s employability service, is delighted to launch the Stirling and Clackmannanshire Fair Work Incentive.
This is an employer recruitment incentive of up to £2,000 which aims to support Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils' commitment to target support at unemployed individuals with the greatest barriers to work to enable them to gain sustainable employment (including Modern Apprenticeships).
The Fair Work Incentive is available to use as a contribution to the additional costs of recruiting and sustaining an eligible recruit during their first 52 weeks of employment.
Eligible recruits are those individuals who meet the following criteria:
Only small to medium sized companies or organisations from the private and third sectors with up to 250 employees are eligible to access the Fair Work Incentive. Public sector employers are not eligible to apply.
Cllr Ellen Forson, Leader of Clackmannanshire Council said: “Helping Clackmannanshire be attractive to businesses and people and ensuring fair opportunities for all is a key outcome of our 10 year Local Outcome Improvement Plan. I am delighted that we, along with our partners in Stirling, have decided to use some of the Scottish Government’s No-One Left Behind Employability Funding stream to support the most disadvantaged local people to progress towards employment.”
